Tara loves to experiment in multiple mediums. Her favorite pieces are the result of letting her imagination wander. She calls these pieces the result of “what if?” thinking, playing with different techniques to see where it will take her. The result? Serendipitous magic. Her works range from realism to abstract, from realistic to whimsical. She is as likely to paint working horses on a ranch as dinosaurs with boas. Tara is a member of and has signature status with the Northwest Watercolor Society, the International Society of Experimental Artists, and the Watercolor Society of Oregon. She is also a member of the American Academy of Equine Art.
