Born in Chicago, Illinois, Kenneth Dust began his art career at an early age. At nine, he was tutored by the sisters of Notre Dame where he learned to handle charcoal, mix colors on a pallet, and paint with oils. He applies these techniques to his wildlife and nature works to this day. During his career in engineering, he continued to study art and create art. Kenneth’s work has won numerous awards and has been displayed in the Audubon Artists, North American Wildlife Exhibition, Tucson Zoological Society, and the Tucson Botanical Gardens. He has been a member of various art groups, such as Southwest League of Fine Arts, Santa Cruz Valley Art Association, Audubon Artists, and Desert Artisans.
