I received my BFA in Painting and drawing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and was also introduced to printmaking there. My work is landscape based and I am inspired by the natural beauty of the Oregon Coast, and vibrant colors of Big Island of Hawaii and southwest Florida. My aim is to create an abstract sense of place, with a focus on composition, geometric shapes and a range of color.
