ART ON THE EDGE Studio Tour of the Central Oregon Coast is a self-guided tour of the studio spaces of well known, coastal visual artists for the weekend of June 16, 17 and 18, 2023. Hours are 11am to 5pm each day. The studio sites range in location from Neskowin to Newport and east to Toledo, Oregon. These artists will show off their exclusive locations, demonstrate their creative processes and sell their work. We invite you to experience our rich local arts community which has the distinction of being located along the beautiful Oregon Coast.

This year the Art on the Edge Studio Tour will include about 70 individual artists at an estimated 30 locations, a few of which are group studios. This year the tour includes a great variety of medium: oil painting, acrylic painting, watercolor, mixed media, encaustic, metal sculpture and casting, driftwood furniture, handmade jewelry, fused glass, glass blowing, clay and ceramic art, photography, weaving, mosaic, colored pencil art, reclaimed assemblage art and printmaking, fabric arts and more.
Studio tour booklets will be available at the Lincoln City Cultural Center and the Newport Visual Arts Center beginning on May 1st and at all participating arts organizations and studio sites throughout the tour dates. The map will also be made available on the website at that time.
All studio tour artists will be featured in an exhibit at the Chessman Gallery inside the Lincoln City Cultural Center. This is a great opportunity to see a few pieces from each of the participating Studio Tour artists in one space. This exhibit opens with a reception at 5pm on Friday May 26th and will be up until July 2nd. Open to the public Thursday through Sunday, 10am to 4pm, closed Monday through Wednesdays.
The Chessman Gallery is at 540 NE Hwy 101, Lincoln City, Oregon 97367.
