ART ON THE EDGE Studio Tour of the Central Oregon Coast is a self-guided tour of the studio spaces of well known, coastal visual artists for the weekend of May 29th, 30th, & 31st, 2020. The studio sites range in location from Neskowin to Newport. These artists will show off their exclusive locations, demonstrate their creative processes and sell their work. We invite you to experience our rich local arts community which has the distinction of being located along the beautiful Oregon Coast.
This year the Art on the Edge Studio Tour will include an estimated 40 individual artists at 30 locations, a few of which are group studios that will feature another 20 artists. Each year the tour includes a variety of medium: oil painting, acrylic painting, watercolor, metal sculpture and casting, driftwood furniture, handmade jewelry, fire painting, glass blowing, clay and ceramic art, photography, weaving, mosaic, colored pencil art, reclaimed assemblage art and printmaking and fabric arts. The tour booklet also includes many wonderful local businesses that have supported the participating artists.
Purchases of the studio tour booklets and entrance buttons can be made at the Lincoln City Cultural Center, all participating arts organizations and at all of the studio sites throughout the tour dates. Presale at LCCC. The tour costs $10. The tour buttons will be made by the Taft High School art students and are a unique community art collaboration. They are beautifully crafted, etched in wood and very collectible.
