Pam Young has expressed herself with clay for about 55 years. She creates both functional and nonfunctional pieces loaded with color, texture and whimsy, to make you smile. Pam has had clay in her hands for most of her life and has developed a style that chose her rather than her choosing it. She believes the clay already knows what it’s supposed to be and her job is to just use her skills to make it “become”. She feels that if her clay work makes people happy, gives them pleasure, then that is a huge compliment.
