Connie Hansen Garden
The Connie Hansen Garden House was originally the art studio of ASA founder, Maude Wanker. When Connie Hansen bought the property, she created a beautiful rhododendron garden, with paths, bridges, and flowers, a work of art in itself. The garden is now maintained by volunteers, many of whom are artists. Plein air painters are always welcome in the garden and during the tour, Marion Moir will be watercolor painting outdoors, 11- 4pm, weather permitting. In the gallery, a trio of artists will set up temporary studio spaces: Roberta Baker with her art quilts and wall hangings, Naima Baker, whose “Orgonites” are made of crystals, beach stones, and semi-precious gems; and Nancy Chase, with watercolors and oil paintings.
